The Salle and Swimming Pool

The Salle is entered off a small terraced seating area. The room has a large table which can seat up to 25 people. This is where breakfast would be served for large groups. The Salle can also be hired separately if you want an outside caterer. It is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, glasses, ice machine, wine fridge and sink. There are also hot plates available to use. The room is heated by an air heat pump system which can also act as an air conditioner.

The triple glazed door leads down some steps to the swimming pool which can also be accessed by a side door off the large terraced area. The pool is 11m x 3.75m and is a salt water pool. The depth at the shallow end, where the steps are, is 1m and the deep end is 1.5m. There are strict rules if you want to use the pool, most of which are common sense e.g. no glasses in the pool area, no running, diving and shower before use. We ask all pool users to sign the book on entry and when leaving and also to sign a disclaimer form.

There is also a small gym area consisting of a treadmill, static bike and a cross trainer. There is a seating area next to the pool also. Off the gym is the changing room, shower and toilet. All pool towels are provided – bedroom towels are not to be used for the pool! The pool is open from 9am until 9.30pm unless otherwise agreed with Chris or Charles.

The terrace area can seat up to 20 people with a charcoal BBQ attached for guests use. The 2nd door off the terrace leads upstairs to the games rooms. The pool table is on a mezzanine overlooking the swimming pool with 3 armchairs. The other room has a table and chairs with a cupboard full of board games, jigsaws, bar games and there is also a good selection of books. The barn is connected to Wi-Fi.

All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
